Outside Your Bubble

As I finally have a free moment to sit down and write on my blog, my mind races with so much.

Jack is napping, Raylea is entertaining herself, and Sophie (my dog), is curled up on the sofa.

Lasagna is baking in the oven and I'm sipping on my second cup of coffee.

Stormie, our Great Dane is barking at who knows what outside and for the most part, the Ledbetter house is pretty calm.

But, what is going on outside of these four walls?

I have a friend who just left Mayo Clinic. She's my age and she has awful health right now.

My brother in law, sister and three nieces are living in South Korea for the next few years because he's stationed there as a Captain in the Air Force. I likely won't get to see them until they come back to the U.S., and that'll be a few years. They will spend Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthdays away from their families and friends.

I have a friend who has an autistic daughter. She is incredibly smart, but she also has many challenges.

Nearly a dozen Coptic Christians were beheaded last week by the demonic group, ISIS.

My brother will go back to war for like... the 20th time, not exaggerating, this summer. I can't help but be nervous every moment he's on foreign soil, doing what he does. But I am SO thankful someone is willing to fight and protect our freedom, or they would be over here on our ground.

Some woman just lost her baby before she was able to hold them in her arms.

Some parents had their child abducted and haven't seen them in months. They have no idea if they are even alive still.

A young man just had one of his legs cut off because he was in a bad accident last year. He will never be able to just get up and walk across the house like you and I can, whenever we want.

Some man just found out his wife has been cheating on him.

Some woman is beat every single day by her boyfriend.

Some little kid is being sexually molested and told to never speak of it or they will be in big trouble.

There's people out there working over time trying to make ends meet, yet somehow they still don't have money to pay rent.

There's people right this moment saying their goodbyes to their loved one as they slip away into eternity.

There is a boy who feels he is worthless and is about to commit suicide.

There is a car that just wrecked and the whole family didn't make it.

Someone's house just burned and they lost every material item they've ever owned and cherished.

I have been making a point lately to think outside my bubble. To pray outside my bubble. Sure, I have some problems and issues in life. Who doesn't?!

I just wanted to write and remind each of you, whether you are reading this blog for the very first time, or if you've read it twenty times... to think and pray outside your bubble today.

There are so many things going on in this world. Seven some billion people are walking around in their bubbles.

Don't be oblivious to others and their problems and their eternity.

Make time today to ask God to help you to think and pray outside your bubble.

You're wonderful and you're beautiful and you have a purpose.

START SEEKING HIM WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND.
